A project that runs on one machine can still be difficult for someone else to reproduce. ReproPack turns environment details into an explicit deliverable.
02The approach
- Validate dependency specifications and package environment templates, setup scripts and metadata.
- Provide API endpoints to create, list and download ZIP artifacts.
- Keep packaging helpers and request models separate from the API, with backend tests and a companion frontend repository.
03The evidence
- The API implements package creation, listing and download.
- Generated packages include dependency and setup information with metadata.
- The preview image is from the existing portfolio project asset.
04Scope & status
Packaging an environment is one reproducibility aid; it does not prove that every external dataset or service will remain available. Shared packages should contain templates, not live secrets.
Public source is available for independent inspection.
